In May 2014, the Basel Derbygirl Kollektiv met for the first time, determined to bring roller derby to Basel - and, in true Derby-spirit, we've done it all ourselves: training, coaching, promotion, and management. Since those early days, we have grown to 25 members and counting, and are proud to be a truly diverse and multicultural team, welcoming players of all genders, races, age, sexuality and skill.

Anyone can be a Rhine Rebel. We run two tryout trainings followed by a rookie course per year and are always open for skaters and officials to train with us.
