PLAYER
After a beginner course and assessment you will be able to participate in the full-contact gameplay and advanced skating skills training for your first bout (game) in Basel or wherever the Derby Love takes us. You don't even need to know how to skate yet—we'll teach you everything you need to know: from skills, to rules - gameplay to strategies.

REFEREE | SKATING OFFICIALS

There is no roller derby without refs. Referees need to pass the same skills assessment as players. But you also get to wear a zebra jersey and whistle, shout & gesture at people. Prefer less physical contact while being an integral part of the game? Then this is for you!

NON-SKATING OFFICIAL (NSO)

Roller Derby isn't just for skaters—we need non-skating officials too! There are various positions - from noting down points scored to timing the (many) penalties incurred by players - and without NSOs we would not be able to enjoy Derby at all.

SUPPORT & COMMITTEE WORK

Fans, family, and friends are always welcome to cheer us on during our games. The louder, the better! Do you have a passion for organizing, fancy getting a free entry by helping out at the cake stand or simply want to support a niche femme and trans led sport club? We need you too!

And, of course, without our sponsors we wouldn't have our amazing hot pants, medical equipment, and flyers!
